If the eardrum is perforated, the patient will often feel that there is a leak in the ear, and sometimes when there is anxiety and fire, or when there is dirty water in the ear canal, it is particularly likely to lead to pus in the ear, so it is recommended that eardrum repair surgery be considered. If there is no contraindication to surgery, the tympanic membrane repair surgery can be performed under general anesthesia. The patient’s temporalis fascia is often taken as the tympanic membrane to be repaired in the ear canal, and after the location of the tympanic membrane is transplanted, the outer ear canal needs to be filled to effectively fix the eardrum. It normally takes about half a month of compression to remove the filling from the ear canal, after which the patient should see significant results from the eardrum repair surgery and the hearing situation should improve significantly, but there is also the possibility of surgical failure.
