How soon can lymphoma be ruled out with enlarged lymph nodes?

Lymphoma cannot be ruled out on the basis of time of the swollen lymph nodes. Lymphoma is usually diagnosed by observing the symptoms and auxiliary examinations. Lymphoma is a malignant tumor originating from lymph nodes and lymphatic tissues, which manifests itself as enlarged lymph nodes, fever, night sweats, etc. However, relying only on the time of enlarged lymph nodes cannot diagnose whether or not one is suffering from lymphoma. In addition to observing the symptoms, the diagnosis of lymphoma usually requires auxiliary examination, such as ultrasonic examination, MRI, CT examination, and the confirmation of the diagnosis needs to rely on lymph node biopsy, etc. The treatment varies according to different types and stages, and chemotherapy and radiotherapy are the mainstay in general. If the lymph nodes are enlarged and the test results are normal, then lymphoma can be excluded. Patients with enlarged lymph nodes are advised to maintain a light diet and not to eat spicy and irritating foods such as chili peppers and onions. In addition, patients are advised to go to the hospital in time and do not use medication on their own.
