The purple color of the body is caused by bleeding inside the subcutaneous and muscular tissues, mainly bleeding and oozing of blood from small capillaries, accompanied by exudation of fluid from the surrounding tissues. It is necessary to go to the hospital for examination in order to avoid fracture of the body or damage to important organs. If the injury is only to soft tissues, ice or cold towels can be applied to the purple area to effectively reduce local bleeding and exudation of surrounding tissue fluid, as well as to reduce further expansion of local swelling. After two days, hot towels can be used to apply hot compresses, which can accelerate the blood circulation around the area and make the local purple dissipate as soon as possible. If the skin on the surface has broken down, it also needs to be disinfected with iodophor to avoid bacterial infection, inflammation and pus inside the wound.
