Most patients do not need other treatments after surgery for stage 1a lung adenocarcinoma.
Stage 1a lung adenocarcinoma belongs to the early stage, the tumor volume is less than 1cm, and there is no metastasis to the surrounding tissues and lymph nodes, most of the patients can be cured without other treatments after radical resection, which can clean up the tumor tissues and cancer cells, and the cure rate is still relatively high.
Clinically, there are also a very few patients with high malignant degree and high risk of recurrence and metastasis after surgery. In order to avoid recurrence in the later stage, a period of radiotherapy, chemotherapy or targeted therapy will be carried out after surgery.
