Pregnancy pseudo-menstruation is abnormal vaginal bleeding and true menstruation is regular vaginal bleeding. Pregnancy pseudo-menstruation is clinically irregular and it is unknown when vaginal bleeding will occur. When a false period occurs in pregnancy, the bleeding is usually very small and light in color for a short number of days. It usually clears in a day or two and is distinctly different from a true menstrual period, but it creates a cognitive illusion. In clinical practice, true menstruation has a certain pattern, for example, the cycle is 28-35 days, which is clinically normal, and the menstrual blood is dark red in color and does not clinically clot. In the case of false menstruation, the bleeding is bright red and clinically there may be blood clots, which is the difference between the two. In addition, false menstruation usually lasts for about 3 days after pregnancy, and some people also have menstruation and a small amount of bleeding when they get to their physiologic period after pregnancy. However, the amount of bleeding is usually not too large and there is no abdominal pain. This phenomenon is a physiological manifestation, do not be too nervous, you can try to rest in bed during this period, do not do strenuous exercise to avoid miscarriage. If the bleeding is abnormal, you should go to the hospital in time.
