Pain around the stomach may be caused by improper diet, appendicitis, acute enteritis and so on.
1. Improper diet: such as the intake of a large number of cold food (cold beer, drinks), unclean food (such as spoiled food, raw seafood), causing acute gastroenteritis, which causes abdominal pain, diarrhea and so on.
2. Appendicitis: it is caused by bad dietary habits, bacterial invasion, congenital malformation of the appendix, etc. It is mainly divided into acute appendicitis and chronic appendicitis. Acute appendicitis is characterized by sudden and severe pain in the abdomen, starting from the umbilicus and gradually moving to the right lower abdomen, while chronic appendicitis is characterized by pain in the right lower abdomen, with intermittent pain in some patients.
3. Acute enteritis: mainly caused by unclean/improper diet, cold or exertion, infection and so on. Common symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite.
In addition to the above causes, gastrointestinal dysfunction and irritable bowel syndrome can also cause the above symptoms. If the above symptoms are not relieved, or accompanied by other symptoms, you should go to the hospital in a timely manner to identify the cause and give targeted treatment.
