Sang Mang Sheng is a traditional Chinese medicine, which mainly has the effects of dispelling wind-dampness, tonifying the liver and kidney, strengthening the tendons and bones, and stabilizing the fetus, etc. It can be used for the treatment of rheumatism and paralysis, lumbar and knee soreness, sinew and bone weakness, as well as the leakage of blood in pregnancy, and fetal restlessness, etc., and there is no clear contraindication to the use of the drug. Sang Mang Sheng is the dried leafy stems and branches of Sang Mang Sheng, a plant of the family Sang Mang Sang Sang, which is bitter, sweet and neutral in nature; it belongs to the liver and kidney meridians and has the efficacy of dispelling wind-dampness, tonifying the liver and kidneys, strengthening the tendons and bones, and stabilizing the fetus. It can be used in the treatment of rheumatism and paralysis, soreness of the lower back and knees, weakness of tendons and bones and deficiencies of the liver and kidneys (the liver and kidneys functioning in a weak manner), disintegration of menstruation (menstrual bleeding that is too profuse or drips more than one drop), hemorrhaging during pregnancy and restlessness of the fetus. There is no clear contraindication to the use of Sang Mang Sheng, but the use of Chinese herbs should also be under the guidance of a physician’s diagnosis and should not be used blindly on one’s own.
