How long does it take for stomach bloating to improve with H. pylori medication?

Stomach bloating can be improved by taking H. pylori medication for about two weeks. The treatment cycle of H. pylori is two weeks, and it is treated by quadruple therapy, i.e. one proton pump inhibitor + one bismuth + two antibiotics, such as omeprazole, bismuth potassium citrate, amoxicillin and clarithromycin. Generally, H. pylori can be eliminated after two weeks of medication, and stomach bloating can be improved. Do not stop or reduce the dosage of the medication without authorization during the quadruple therapy treatment, and go to the hospital for a review one month after stopping the medication to check whether the H. pylori bacteria are eradicated through C13 or C14. If H. pylori is still present, the treatment can be repeated after three months. Treatment of H. pylori with quadruple therapy can relieve bloating in two weeks. The medication should be taken according to the doctor’s instructions and should not be reduced or extended to avoid failure to achieve the therapeutic effect or damage to our body.
