If a hard lump is found inside the breast, but there are no painful symptoms, especially if the lesion occurs in the breast, a color ultrasound examination of the breast should be performed promptly. Especially in middle-aged and elderly patients, painless intramamammary masses are not excluded from the possibility of being malignant. Ultrasonography can be used for initial identification and, if necessary, mammography, or percutaneous fine needle aspiration, as well as local tissue excision for frozen pathology can be chosen. If malignancy is confirmed, radical excision should be performed, or depending on the patient’s wishes, the location of the lesion, and the size of the breast volume, radical breast cancer excision with breast preservation should be chosen. Some lesions are benign tumors occurring in the breast tissue, including lipomas, etc. The treatment is relatively simple and can be chosen to remove the lesion under local anesthesia, which also requires regular review.
