The formula of Danshen and Jade Bamboo Drink is Danshen and Jade Bamboo. Danshen is bitter in taste and slightly cold in nature, with the effects of cooling the blood, activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis (promoting blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis in the body), clearing the heart and removing vexation (removing vexation and heat in the heart), and is often used in treating chest palsy (stuffy pain in the chest), heartache, epigastric (abdominal) pain, menstrual disorders, heartburn, insomnia and so on.
Yuzhu is flat and sweet in nature, which can nourish yin and moisten dryness, remove vexation and quench thirst, and is often used in treating heat illnesses that injure the yin, coughing and vexation and thirst, deficiency labor, and frequency of urination.
Danshen and Jade Bamboo Drink can be used to treat deficiency diseases in men or women, such as limb weakness, spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, aggravated by the slightest movement of sweating), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, and sweating stops after waking up), and other symptoms of deficiency of yin with heat.
