Slow plus acute liver failure is a serious condition and is the most common cause of liver failure in our country. Other common causes include pharmacological liver injury, viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease, and ischemic liver injury caused by shock and hypotension. The patient’s liver function deteriorates dramatically, manifested by consciousness and coagulation disorders, etc. It is mostly seen in middle-aged and young people, with rapid onset and high mortality rate, and the pathogenesis involves endotoxin, i.e., endotoxin, i.e., cytokine-mediated immunoinflammatory injury, hepatic microcirculation disorder, apoptosis, inhibition of hepatocyte regeneration, hepatic energy metabolism, and multiorgan failure due to loss of detoxification, which then accelerates the death of the patient with liver failure.
