Lung squamous carcinoma process is the growth of tumor after the malignant transformation of squamous epithelial cells on the bronchial mucosa stimulated by various factors. The full name of squamous lung cancer is squamous cell carcinoma of the lung, which is a type of non-small cell lung cancer, and the morbidity and mortality rate ranks the first in China. Predisposing factors include smoking, environmental pollution, occupational exposure and other previous lung diseases. Due to external stimuli, the squamous epithelial cells of the bronchial mucosa undergo genetic mutations and continue to deteriorate into tumor cells, which eventually grow into tumors, i.e. lung squamous carcinoma. Lung squamous carcinoma can be divided into 4 stages, stage 1 is early stage, the tumor is located in lung tissues and has not metastasized yet, stage 2 is intermediate stage, the cancer cells have metastasized to lymph nodes near the hilum, stage 3 is middle-late stage, the cancer cells have further metastasized to the mediastinum or extrapulmonary lymph nodes, and stage 4 is advanced stage, the tumor has metastasis to the pleura or multiple metastasis in the whole body. It is suggested that patients with squamous lung cancer should go to regular hospitals in time, so as to avoid delaying their condition.
