Symptoms of laryngitis in children

The symptoms of laryngitis in children include fever, hoarseness, barking cough and wheezing.
1. Fever: most laryngitis is acute laryngitis, acute onset, rapid development, some children’s temperature can be as high as 40 ℃, lasting about three days.
2. Hoarseness: laryngitis causes congestion and edema of the mucous membrane of the vocal cords, and most children have obvious hoarseness and dysphonia.
3. Barking cough: the cough is like a barking dog, which is very typical.
4. Wheezing: Laryngitis can lead to obstruction and narrowing of the upper airway, resulting in a distinct wheezing sound.
