Is it serious to consider metastatic lesions in diffuse variable sized nodules in both lungs?

Diffuse unequal sized nodules in both lungs are considered metastatic lesions are likely to be metastatic lung cancer, which is more serious, or may be caused by pneumoconiosis, tuberculosis, etc., the severity of which depends on the condition.
Diffuse unequal sized nodules in both lungs are the findings of chest CT and other imaging examinations in the lungs. Considering metastatic lesions means judging according to the size, morphology, number and other characteristics of the nodules that they may be caused by metastasis of tumors but it cannot be ruled out that they may be caused by tuberculosis, pneumoconiosis and other reasons.
If the lung nodules are caused by metastatic lung cancer, they are more serious, and the primary cancer foci are mostly at a more advanced stage before lung metastasis occurs, which is generally difficult to be cured by surgical methods and may be life-threatening, and requires comprehensive treatment such as combined chemotherapy, radiotherapy, etc., and has a poorer prognosis.
In case of diffuse lung nodules caused by tuberculosis and pneumoconiosis, the condition of mild cases is not serious, and can be improved and cured after regular medication or early detachment from the dust environment and reasonable oxygen therapy, while the condition of serious cases may be life-threatening if not treated in time.
It is recommended to consult a specialist and follow the doctor’s instructions for further examination and treatment.
