Cardiac pain relief tablets are a kind of proprietary Chinese medicine preparation, which is only used to treat angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, probably because the effect is not very good, and it is rarely sold in the market now. It is also known as nifedipine tablets, a calcium antagonist, which has the effect of lowering blood pressure and relieving angina symptoms. Although it is a short-acting calcium antagonist, it can lower blood pressure and relieve the symptoms of angina pectoris, but the short duration of action does not provide a good and smooth control of blood pressure, and 50% of the patients who take it will have severe headache, tachycardia, severe hypotension, and even trigger or aggravate the symptoms of angina pectoris.
