Vitamin B Complex Tablets are used for the prevention and treatment of various diseases caused by B vitamin deficiency. The drug is a compound preparation, in which vitamin B1 is an important component of coenzymes required for sugar metabolism; vitamin B2 is an important component of coenzymes required for tissue respiration; nicotinamide is a component of coenzymes I and II, which are necessary for lipid metabolism and tissue respiration and oxidation; vitamin B6 is a cofactor for many enzymes, which is involved in amino acid and fat metabolism; calcium pantothenate is a component of coenzyme A, which is involved in sugar, fat and protein metabolism. Therefore, this drug is clinically used for the prevention and treatment of malnutrition, anorexia, pediculosis, pellagra, etc. caused by B vitamin deficiency. Adverse reactions such as irritability, fatigue, loss of appetite may occur after use of the drug; a small number of patients may experience symptoms such as skin flushing and itching; urine may be yellow in color. Contraindications of the drug, etc. are not known. When this drug is used for daily supplementation and prophylaxis, the lowest dose is appropriate. If the drug is needed, it should be used under the guidance of a physician, and should not be used on its own to avoid adverse reactions.
