The main purpose of taking Darin-35 before an IVF transplant is to lower pituitary gonadotropin levels and inhibit ovulation this month. An IVF transfer is done by taking sperm and eggs, fertilizing them in a special culture solution outside the body to develop into fertilized eggs, and then transferring them inside the body to develop into a fetus. In order to increase the success rate of IVF transfer more than one embryo needs to be cultured to increase more selectivity for better quality embryos to be transferred into the body. The prerequisite for culturing more embryos is the need for multiple follicles. Normally, only one follicle develops and matures each month, and in order to extract more than one follicle, doctors use medication to downregulate the follicles. Darin-35 is a short-acting contraceptive pill that inhibits ovulation. The effectiveness of Darin-35 is utilized to inhibit follicular discharge and enable better follicular development, allowing more follicles to develop and mature the following month, which facilitates the extraction of multiple follicles.
