Cranio-orbital communicating meningioma – total resection by orbito-zygomatic pterygoid point approach

Postoperatively, the patient had normal vision and normal eye movement.  Cranio-orbital communicating tumor is a complex tumor at the base of the skull. Because the tumor involves the orbit and the skull, most ophthalmologists in provincial hospitals nationwide cannot handle this type of tumor, which is usually operated by neurosurgeons, and only a few neurosurgeons are competent to operate on this part of the tumor.
