There are many reasons for chest pain when turning over at night, and the common ones are costochondritis, myocardial ischemia, muscle strain, and so on.

2. Myocardial ischemia: pain in the anterior region of the heart caused by coronary artery stenosis, insufficient blood supply and oxygenation to the myocardium, which is mostly related to activities, and some patients with atypical symptoms may feel pain in the chest area when they turn over in their sleep.
3. Muscle strain: due to excessive contraction or stretching of the chest muscles during the day, such as chest expansion exercise, more than the muscle tolerance, rest at night when the muscles are in a static state, turning over can stimulate the damaged muscles to appear in the affected area of chest pain.
