How to correct anterior scapular shift

Anterior scapular shift can be corrected by changing bad posture, rehabilitation exercises or surgery.
1. Change the bad posture: scapula anterior should change the bad sitting or standing posture, avoid hunching over the chest, and keep the shoulder joint in the normal position. Orthopedic support can also be worn.
2. Rehabilitation exercise: such as hanging bar or push-ups, you can also do chest expansion exercise twice a day, exercise half an hour every day. Through the exercise, the muscle strength around the shoulder joint will be strengthened and the muscles will be balanced, which will be beneficial to the recovery and correction of scapula anterior displacement.
3. Surgical correction treatment: If there is no improvement through conservative treatment, and the shoulder joint moves forward significantly, resulting in limited shoulder joint activities, it can be corrected through surgery to loosen the tense muscles and make the local mechanics balanced.
The anterior displacement of the scapula should be treated conservatively or surgically under the guidance of the doctor according to the specific situation. It is recommended to go to regular hospitals for professional and systematic treatment and rehabilitation when scapula anterior displacement occurs.
