Thrombolysis is mainly used to restore the patient’s blood flow and improve the metabolism of brain tissue in time, which can rescue the ischemic semidark zone around the patient’s infarction, avoid the formation of necrosis in the ischemic semidark zone and improve the patient’s symptoms. There is a clear time window for thrombolysis, and the time window for resuscitating the semidark zone is within 6 hours of onset. rtPA can be used for intravenous thrombolysis if it is within 4.5 hours of onset, and urokinase can be used for intravenous thrombolysis if the patient is within 4.5-6 hours of onset. Thrombolysis has a certain risk of bleeding, so the family must sign an informed consent form to clearly exclude the patient’s contraindications to intravenous thrombolysis before the patient can be given intravenous thrombolysis treatment.
