1. pediatric pharyngeal flat granules: mainly composed of Sagittaria, Platycodon grandiflorus, Ophiopogon, Biloba, Honeysuckle, Goldenseal, XuanShen, Artificial NiuHuang, etc., has the efficacy of clearing away heat and relieving pharyngeal pain, detoxification and analgesia, and can be clinically used for the treatment of children’s lungs and guards of the heat caused by milky moths (related to the Western medicine tonsillitis), laryngeal paralysis (pharyngeal redness and swelling and pain, or dryness, a sense of foreign body, or pharyngeal itching and discomfort, dysphagia).
Symptoms include sore throat, erosion of the mouth and tongue, and cough with abundant phlegm. Its adverse reactions are not clear, diabetic children are prohibited.
2. Yinhuang Granules: mainly composed of Scutellaria baicalensis extract and honeysuckle extract, it has the efficacy of clearing heat and dispersing wind, relieving pharynx and detoxification, and can be used for the treatment of pharyngolaryngeal pain, dry pharynx, enlarged pharyngeal nucleus, fever, thirst and other conditions caused by lung-guardian heat and external wind-heat. Its adverse effects and contraindications are not clear.
