The common cause of hematospermia is seminal vesiculitis, in addition to seminal vesicle stones and seminal vesicle tumors, etc. For seminal vesicle lesions, we mainly rely on imaging examinations such as ultrasound and MRI, and antibiotic treatment is also mostly used for hematospermia caused by seminal vesicle inflammation. However, with the advancement of technology, vesiculoscopy has become the most advanced means of treatment. Through vesiculoscopy, we can not only examine the lesions of seminal vesicles, but also give flushing to the inflammation and break up and flush out the stones with laser, which solves the problem of treatment of stubborn hematospermia. At present, our hospital has examined and treated dozens of patients with persistent hematospermia. Very good treatment results have been achieved.
