Why do gynecological diseases cause back pain?

Women have some female-specific diseases due to anatomical and physiological characteristics, such as uterine corporitis, adnexitis, retroversion of the uterus, uterine prolapse, pelvic tumors, etc. Women suffering from these diseases often have lower back pain symptoms. Lower back pain can be caused during menstruation, pelvic congestion, menstrual tension, and during pregnancy. The reason why gynecological disorders can cause lower back pain is that the nerves of the uterus and adnexa come from the sympathetic plexus of the lower abdomen and ovaries and the intrapelvic nerves of the parasympathetic nerves, which start from the 2nd to 4th sacral nerves, and when the lesions involve these nerves, they can reflexively cause lower back pain symptoms. 1. The pain caused by gynecological disorders is more limited, usually located in the lumbosacral region, and rarely has lower limb symptoms. 2. The nature of pain caused by gynecological disorders is usually distension, dull pain, soreness or hidden pain, without obvious radiating pain. 3.The symptoms of lower back pain are closely related to the menstrual period or the primary gynecological disorder. Women with posterior uterine tilt have symptoms of lower back pain at the onset of menstruation. 4.Symptoms of gynecology: lower abdominal distension, cramping pain, increase of leucorrhea, dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, etc. 5, physical examination: no positive signs found in the lumbosacral area, pressure pain is not obvious, pressure pain points are not limited, straight leg raising test is negative, percussion pain is not obvious, there is a comfortable feeling after percussion; gynecological examination may have positive signs found such as posterior uterine tilt and uterine prolapse. 6. Ultrasound examination of the pelvic area, uterus and adnexa may have imaging changes, while auxiliary examinations such as lumbosacral x-ray have no positive signs.
