Causes of vague pain in the fenestra of the chest

If the patient feels vague pain in the glabellar process of the chest, the discomfort in this area is highly considered to be caused by the presence of gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer. Similar discomfort may also occur due to the presence of ischemia in the lower wall of the heart muscle. If the patient’s pain worsens when pressure is applied, it is highly considered to be caused by gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer. Relatively speaking, patients with duodenal ulcers tend to have fasting pain, or pain at night. Patients with gastric ulcers, on the other hand, tend to have painful symptoms that worsen after meals. If the patient’s symptoms are relieved by sublingual nitroglycerin or heart pills during the onset of discomfort, the presence of angina is not excluded. Patients are advised to undergo chest X-ray, electrocardiogram, cardiac ultrasound and, if necessary, gastroscopy.
