What is the best treatment for intestinal obstruction?

Except for strangulated intestinal obstruction with impaired blood supply, and mechanical intestinal obstruction due to tumours and congenital intestinal malformations, most patients can be treated conservatively, including fasting, water, gastric tube and gastrointestinal decompression, maintaining electrolyte and acid-base balance, pain relief and gastrointestinal motility therapy if necessary, and antibiotic treatment if infection is present.
If conservative treatment does not work and the condition is severe, the doctor will treat the patient surgically in different ways depending on the situation.
