The left and right positions of twin fetuses with double chorionic villi and double amniotic sacs are not usually interchanged.
In twin fetuses with double chorionic twin sheep, the two fetuses usually have separate placentas and amniotic sacs, and the fetuses are located in their respective amniotic sacs. The amniotic sac is attached to the wall of the uterus and its position in the uterine cavity is usually fixed, so the left and right positions of the fetuses in the amniotic sac are usually not interchangeable.
However, as there is amniotic fluid in the amniotic sac, the fetus can move around inside the amniotic sac, so the relative positions of the twin fetuses may change.
Pregnant women with twin fetuses must undergo regular prenatal checkups to assess the health of the fetus and the mother, in order to ensure the health of the mother and the baby and to avoid the occurrence of undesirable situations.
