Hard earwax in the child’s ear, also known as cerumen, if relatively small, can be followed and observed first, and if necessary, go to the hospital to use cerumen hooks to remove, tingling rinsing, medication to soften and remove, and so on. 1. Follow-up observation, if the earwax is relatively small and does not affect the child’s normal hearing, most of the earwax can be discharged slowly on its own, so do not dig it out by yourself. 2. Cerumen hook removal, if the earwax is hard, large and movable, you need to go to the ENT department of the hospital and use the cerumen hook to remove it, you can not dig on your own, so as not to damage the ear canal. 3. Remove the cerumen after rinsing and softening with medication. If the earwax is fixed and not easy to remove, you can use 5% sodium bicarbonate solution to drop the earwax 2~3 times a day, and the earwax will be softened in about 2~3 days, and then go to the hospital to remove the cerumen. When you find earwax in your child’s ears, such as affecting hearing, you need to go to the ENT department and follow the doctor’s instructions.
