Liumo Tang can be used to treat diseases such as abdominal pain caused by stagnant Qi and constipation caused by intestinal heat.
Liumo Tang is an ancient Chinese herbal formula from “Shimoji Dexuefang” (世醫得效方). Its ingredients are betel nut, rhubarb, citrus aurantium dulcis, sedum, woodruff, and ophiopogon. Its efficacy is to break the Qi and broaden the middle, clear heat and pass stool. It can be used to treat the following diseases
1. Constipation caused by intestinal heat, with symptoms such as dry stools and difficulty in passing stools.
2. Abdominal pain caused by Qi stagnation, symptoms such as abdominal pain, distention and fullness in the epigastrium (abdomen), nausea and poor appetite.
Precautions for application are not recommended for patients with weak spleen and stomach, and contraindicated for pregnant women.
