The choice of treatment for breast cancer depends most of all on staging, pathologic staging, clinical staging, and molecular staging, which will provide supporting evidence for the next step of treatment. Breast cancer belongs to the early stage, and if the lump is relatively small, breast-conserving surgery can be done to remove the lump, and the lymph nodes in the armpit of the same side will be cleared. For intermediate stage breast cancer, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, endocrine therapy and targeted therapy will also be used after surgery. For stage IV breast cancer, the patient’s ability to withstand surgery is insufficient, and the lungs, bones and liver may have been involved. Such breast cancer patients can adopt palliative surgery, and on the basis of adjuvant chemotherapy, local excision can be given to relieve the patient’s pain and improve the quality of life.
