Signs of recurrence of rectal cancer are localized pain, change of stool and malnutrition.
1. Local pain, if rectal cancer recurs in the original site, patients will have local pain symptoms, such as anal swelling, sacral pain, which can be radiated to the lower limbs in serious cases.
2. Stool change, under the stimulation of tumor, intestinal peristalsis starts to accelerate, plus the tumor causes occupation to the channel, so there will be increased frequency of urination, thinning and notching of stool.
3. Malnutrition, rectal cancer will directly affect the nutrition absorption of patients, and at the same time constantly consume the body heat, thus resulting in symptoms of malnutrition such as body wasting and anemia.
