How to give AD to infants

AD should refer to Vitamin AD. When giving Vitamin AD to infants, attention should be paid to the dosage. You can cut open the Vitamin AD capsule and put one drop or half a drop into your baby’s mouth or into your baby’s bottle, so that your baby can take it with milk. Vitamin AD mainly contains vitamin A and vitamin D. The Chinese Academy of Nutrition recommends that infants under one year of age should have a recommended daily intake of vitamin A of 400ug (1,212 IU) and a recommended daily intake of vitamin D of 10ug (400 IU), and that parents should choose infant-specific vitamin AD combinations under the guidance of a doctor. Since vitamin AD preparations are mostly in capsule form, swallowing the whole capsule can lead to accidental ingestion of the baby into the windpipe, so it needs to be cut open before giving it to the baby, and after cutting it open, it can be dropped directly into the baby’s mouth, or into a bottle or water, and then fed to the baby.
