Jaundice requires a choice of medications to reduce yellowing depending on the cause, mainly antioxidants, hepatocyte repair, and drugs to improve microcirculation. 1. The following drugs can be given for liver injury: (1) Drugs of antioxidant class, such as bicyclic alcohol, silymarin and so on. (2) Hepatocyte repair and protection agents, such as compound polyene phosphatidylcholine and compound glycyrrhizin. (3) Improvement of microcirculation drugs: such as glutathione, prostaglandin, etc. 2. Neonatal jaundice: if physiological jaundice needs no treatment, pathological jaundice can be given liver enzyme inducers, such as phenobarbital, etc. which can reduce the level of bilirubin in the body and help jaundice subside. The above medicines are recommended to be taken under the guidance of physicians, and obstructive jaundice needs to be treated by surgery.
