Why do I have a headache every day after I get up from a nap?

If the patient has a daily headache after a nap, the following causes should be considered: First, consider cerebrovascular disease, such as cerebrovascular infarction, chronic cerebrovascular insufficiency of blood supply, or lacunar cerebral infarction, these conditions can lead to poor intracranial circulation, and in the case of cerebrovascular insufficiency of blood supply, it will lead to headache after waking up from a nap. Second, if atherosclerosis occurs in the cerebral blood vessels, it will also cause narrowing of the cerebral blood vessels, spasm, and insufficient blood supply, which will also lead to dizziness and headache after getting up from a nap. Third, if the patient has chronic cervical spondylosis, it will compress the second to seventh cervical vertebrae after waking up, resulting in clinical symptoms and manifestations of dizziness and headache. Fourth, if the patient has an obvious history of hypertension, the rise in blood pressure after a nap will also cause clinical manifestations of dizziness and headache due to the rise in blood pressure.
