The disease is caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and is a viral infection that occurs in adolescents. The lesions are usually on the face, back of the hands, and arms and appear as skin-colored or pinkish flat papules. The course of the disease is chronic and can be transmitted through direct or indirect contact. It can last for many years, and some patients can get better on their own.
1. The disease can disappear suddenly without scarring; 2. Topical medications can be treated with vincristine ointment, imiquimod ointment, etc.; 3. Physical therapy includes freezing and laser treatment; 3. Severe cases can be treated with oral isotretinoin capsules.
