Scriptural formulae for treating Dampness Stagnation in the Middle Jiao (Dampness obstructing the functions of the Spleen and Stomach) include Ping Stomach San and Huo Xiang Zheng Qi San.
1. Ping Gastric Dispersion: It is used to treat the symptoms of Dampness Stagnation in the Spleen and Stomach (stagnation of dampness in the spleen and stomach). Symptoms include distension and fullness of the epigastrium (abdomen), inappetence, tastelessness, nausea and vomiting, belching (belching), acid swallowing (swallowing acid from the stomach upward to the oropharynx), and heaviness of the limbs. It is not suitable for people with deficiency of Yin and stagnation of Qi, and weakness of spleen and stomach.
2. Patchouli Zhengqi San: The main treatment for external wind-cold, internal injury dampness stagnation (diet is too cold, etc. causes the stagnation of dampness in the body) evidence. Symptoms of cold (cold) fever, headache, chest and diaphragm fullness, epigastric pain, nausea and vomiting, intestinal discharge and diarrhea. This formula is not suitable for vomiting and diarrhea caused by damp-heat cholera.
