For women with regular menstrual cycles, safe period is the 7 days before and 8 days after the first day of menstruation. The safe period for women is the time outside of ovulation. The time of ovulation is 5 days before the day of ovulation plus the day of ovulation and 4 days after the day of ovulation, which is a total of 10 days. If the menstrual cycle is 30 days, remove the 10 days of ovulation. The rest of the time are safe periods. For example, if ovulation is on June 10th, then the safe period is from June 3rd to June 18th. Since there is no ovulation during the safe period, there is almost no chance of pregnancy if you have intercourse during the safe period even if you are not using contraception. However, the safe period is not 100% safe, and due to the stimulation of sexual arousal, abnormal ovulation may occur, resulting in an unwanted pregnancy. Everyone’s menstrual cycle is different, so the safe period time is also different. It is advisable to use contraception during the safe period to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
