How to Wash Shingles Clothes

Shingles is the result of a chickenpox, herpes zoster virus infection. Herpes zoster is contagious. Mainly through direct contact with the blister fluid to infect, herpes zoster patient’s clothing, after being soaked with blister fluid can be infected to others. So shingles patient’s clothes should be washed separately. They can be washed in hot water or soaked in laundry detergent with antiseptic properties and then air-dried. Herpes zoster is contagious, so patients with herpes zoster should avoid contact with infants, pregnant women, frail elderly or patients with tumors to avoid infecting others.
