Lipids (generally referred to as serum triacylglycerol levels) of 1.88 mmol/L are borderline levels, but not hyperlipidemic. The normal range of serum triacylglycerol levels is <1.70 mmol/L, borderline levels are 1.70 to 2.29 mmol/L, and ≥2.30 mmol/L is considered elevated lipids. Serum lipids are influenced by lifestyle, diet and age. Elevated lipids are mainly seen in coronary heart disease, primary hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis, obesity and gout. It is recommended that patients with elevated blood lipid levels go to the hospital in time to improve relevant examinations and receive standardized treatment under the guidance of professional doctors.
