What causes right facial neuralgia?

Neuralgia on the right side of the face may be caused by migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, herpes zoster, intracranial disorders and other causes.
1. Migraine: When a migraine attacks, it can lead to paroxysmal throbbing pain on one or both sides of the head, and may be accompanied by dizziness, nausea and other symptoms. 2. 3. Herpes zoster: when the body is infected by herpes zoster virus, if the virus infringes on the facial nerve, it may cause the right facial neuralgia, which is like a pinprick, electric shock-like severe pain, and may be accompanied by mild fever, fatigue and weakness.
4. Intracranial diseases: When intracranial infection or tumor occurs, it may cause right facial neuralgia due to the damage or compression of intracranial nerves.
