What are the four couplets?

Quadruple therapy usually refers to four drugs for treating H. pylori infection, including a proton pump inhibitor + a bismuth agent + two antibiotics; proton pump inhibitors include omeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole, and rabeprazole; and bismuth agents include colloidal bismuth pectin and bismuth potassium citrate.
Two antibiotics can be chosen amoxicillin, clarithromycin, metronidazole, levofloxacin, furazolidone, tetracycline and so on. Depending on one’s drug resistance, antibiotic combinations containing amoxicillin are recommended when amoxicillin is not resistant, and amoxicillin can be combined with clarithromycin, metronidazole, and levofloxacin. Antibiotic combinations containing furazolidone or tetracycline are recommended after the first treatment relapse.
Quadruple therapy for H. pylori, usually 14 days a course of treatment, the end of 1 course of treatment, need to stop the drug 30 days after the review of H. pylori, if the results are still positive, it is recommended to change the antibiotic and repeat the treatment for 1 course of treatment.
It is recommended to use the medication under the guidance of a doctor. Avoid alcohol, spicy and stimulating diet during the medication.
