The right side of the chest hurts when you move, indicating that the patient’s pain is very intense, commonly gallbladder stones combined with acute cholecystitis, or duodenal ulcer caused. In the case of gallbladder stones, the patient will experience pain on the right side of the chest and the right side of the rib cage, the nature of the pain is very intense biliary colic. Sometimes it radiates to the right side of the back or scapula, accompanied by nausea, vomiting and other symptoms, which need to be clarified by liver and gallbladder ultrasonography. Often, single or multiple stones can be found inside the gallbladder, and the wall of the gallbladder is thicker and there is exudation around the gallbladder, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy is recommended after the diagnosis is clear. Duodenal ulcers can also be characterized by subxiphoid and right upper abdominal pain with nausea, vomiting, regurgitation, belching, and dark stools, which can be confirmed by gastroscopy. If gastroscopy reveals duodenal ulcers, oral medications such as rabeprazole, clarithromycin, and amoxicillin are needed, and gastroscopy should be repeated after treatment of symptoms.
