Are there benign prostate nodules?

There are benign prostate nodules, such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, chronic prostatitis and other causes of nodule performance. Prostate nodules are commonly referred to as small masses in the male prostate, which can be found to be relatively regular in shape, with intact peritoneum, internal homogeneity, and basically no abnormal low-density or high-density shadows through imaging. These nodules can be caused by prostate infections, such as chronic prostatitis, or by benign prostatic hyperplasia, which usually results in benign prostate nodules. Nodules caused by prostate tumors are malignant, such as prostate cancer. It is harmful to the patient’s health and needs to be diagnosed as soon as possible and given appropriate surgical treatment, radiotherapy or endocrine therapy. It is recommended that patients with prostate nodules found during the initial examination should undergo further relevant examinations, such as ultrasound, CT, etc., and follow the clinical diagnosis and treatment plan given by the attending physician according to the examination results, and actively cooperate with the follow-up observation or treatment in the later stage.
