Causes of Eye Worms

Eye worms are mainly caused by regular contact with animals in general.
Animals have a lot of parasites and bacteria on their bodies, so try not to touch animals in normal times. Be sure to wash your hands after contact with pets before taking something to eat, otherwise it is easy to lead to the infection of pathogenic bacteria, but also easy to lead to parasitic infection, which can cause damage to the eyes. Don’t rub your eyes with your hands too often, or it will also increase the incidence of the disease.
Eye worm disease can be manifested as conjunctival congestion, photophobia and tearing, increased secretion, and in severe cases, it can lead to corneal clouding, corneal erosion or ulceration, or even corneal perforation or blindness.
When eye discomfort occurs, it is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible and have the eye worms removed by a medical professional to avoid further aggravation of the damage.
