There is no such thing as the fastest way to stop a toothache. When a toothache arises, it is usually due to periodontitis, acute pulpitis and other diseases, which can be relieved by medication, physical therapy, pulp drainage and surgical treatment.
1. Medication: generally can be used orally or by injection antibiotic drugs or pain medication, such as ibuprofen metronidazole and other painkillers, but also local closure pain. Drugs should be used under the guidance of a doctor.
2. Physical therapy: If the toothache is caused by acute septic pulpitis, containing cold water can have the effect of temporarily relieving the pain.
3. Pulp opening and drainage: toothache caused by acute pulpitis can be relieved by opening the pulp, draining the inflammatory exudate and relieving the high pressure in the pulp cavity produced by it, so as to alleviate the severe pain.
4. Surgical treatment: acute apical periodontitis will cause pain when it develops to subperiosteal or submucosal, at this time, under local anesthesia, incision and drainage of pus can relieve pain.
If the symptoms of toothache are severe, or persist without improvement, you should go to the hospital for treatment.
