What causes bumps on the brow bone

Bumps on the brow bone can be seen as sebaceous cysts, folliculitis, and skin boils. 1. Sebaceous cyst is a kind of retention cyst formed due to the blockage of sebaceous gland ducts for various reasons, which is usually painless. When sebaceous cysts are infected, redness, pain and discomfort may occur locally, and even suppurative infections may occur. 2. Folliculitis is a superficial acute infection that occurs around the hair follicles, typically characterized by red, swollen and painful papules with pus-filled tips. 3. Skin boils are located in the deep surrounding tissues of the hair follicle, and in the early stages are mainly characterized by small subcutaneous lumps with pressure and pain, and in the later stages, redness, swelling and hot pain may occur. There may be other causes of small bumps on the brow bone. Since the shape, size and clinical manifestations of the bumps are different, a doctor’s consultation is required for specific cases.
