I got hit on the head. No redness, no swelling. Should I get it treated?

The head was hit a little without redness and swelling whether the need for treatment mainly depends on whether there is brain damage. It is recommended to go to the hospital in time to do head CT examination, if there is a slight concussion or brain hemorrhage, that is, there is intracranial injury needs to be treated; if there is no redness and no swelling and no intracranial injury can not be treated. If there is no redness or swelling and no intracranial injury, no treatment is needed. The fact that there is no redness or swelling after being hit on the head indicates that there is no trauma, but it does not exclude that there is no damage inside the skull and brain, and the common types of intracranial injuries include cerebral hemorrhage and mild concussion. If there is a slight concussion or cerebral hemorrhage after a CT or MRI examination, prompt treatment is needed. If it is determined that there is no intracranial injury by CT or MRI, but only soft tissue contusion, then no treatment can be received, and the main focus is on rest and recuperation. The head was hit a little without redness and swelling to the hospital in time to check, follow the doctor’s instructions, so as not to delay the condition.
