Celosia argentea is the mature and dried seeds of Celosia argentea, family Amaranthaceae, belonging to liver meridian, bitter flavor, slightly cold in nature, can be used for vertigo caused by liver fire, treating vertigo, headache, irritability and insomnia caused by liver yang, can be used with gardenia, schizandra, xiakoucao and other medicines.
Celosia can also be used for liver-heat eye redness, blurred vision, eye cataracts, treating liver deficiency and blood-heat blurred vision, often used with ginseng, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Psyllium Hederariae and other medicines.
