How to detect gastric cancer in early stage? The early symptoms of gastric cancer are not specific, so early diagnosis is difficult. People’s avoidance of cancer can also easily cause delay of the disease, which is the so-called “avoiding the disease and avoiding the doctor”. Nearly half of patients with gastric cancer have no clinical symptoms in the early stage, and only some of them have symptoms such as mild indigestion, such as hidden pain in the upper abdomen, mild fullness, pain, nausea, belching, etc. These symptoms are not unique to gastric cancer, but can also be found in chronic gastritis, chronic ulcer, functional dyspepsia, and even normal people may occasionally experience them. As the disease progresses, patients will gradually exhibit the following symptoms. If the following symptoms appear, it is necessary to conduct relevant examinations. 1.Lack of appetite, disinclination to eat, feeling of fullness in upper abdomen and loss of appetite are often the first symptoms of stomach cancer. 2.Patients with early gastric cancer will have nausea, but it is mostly an accidental phenomenon. If vomiting occurs, it is often when the tumor has obstructed the pylorus or cardia, which is the entrance and exit of the stomach. The degree of vomiting, the color and nature of vomit depends on the severity and location of the obstruction. If the tumor is located in gastric fundus and cardia, it will cause cardia stenosis, which will lead to unpleasant eating, difficulty in swallowing or choking feeling after meal. Upper abdominal pain is the most common symptom of gastric cancer. At the beginning, upper abdominal pain is not serious, and it tends to come and go without any regularity. If there is no gastric disease in the first stage, but there is vague pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen from time to time, or if the pattern of vague pain in the upper abdomen of patients with history of ulcer changes from the original one, it is necessary to be alert. After further development of the disease, the pain will become frequent and sometimes even persistent. Some patients with gastric cancer have gastric bleeding in early stage, but because the bleeding volume is small and there is no vomiting of blood, and the shape and color of stool are normal to the naked eye, so they are not paid much attention. Many patients show persistent anemia, weakness and emaciation. When the cancer tissue involves blood vessels, vomiting blood and tarry stools may appear, and it is not easy to stop the bleeding. 5.In addition, unexplained diarrhea, constipation, anemia and emaciation should be paid attention to. 6.Lymph node metastasis and organ metastasis will appear in advanced stage of gastric cancer. During the physical examination, it is also meaningful to pay attention to the common metastatic sites. For example, left supraclavicular lymph node metastasis is a more common metastasis in advanced gastric cancer patients, as well as ovarian metastasis and pelvic implantation in women. Therefore, physical examination should also pay attention to check the above mentioned areas. In addition to benign and malignant tumors of the ovary itself, ovarian tumors found in women should also consider the possibility of metastasis from gastrointestinal tract tumors such as gastric cancer to the ovary.
