Transfusion reactions are most commonly characterized by the sudden onset of chills, high fever and other adverse reactions. Firstly, blood transfusion should be stopped immediately, and usually replaced with saline to give intravenous drip or tube flushing. Secondly, Benadryl should be given intramuscularly and dexamethasone should be injected intravenously to provide anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects. Then, if the fever persists and the temperature is relatively high, more than 39 ℃, it can also be appropriately given to utilize antipyretic drugs, such as compound aminopyrine to intramuscular injection, or the use of lysergic acid to give intravenous drip, are very good antipyretic effect. Finally, alcohol or warm water baths can also be given to physically lower the temperature.
